Performance & Workshops
Need a space?
There is nothing to stop you running your event under a tree, in your tent, on a grassy knoll or whatever part of our beautiful site calls to you. However, if you are looking for a dedicated space, there are some options for you to work towards.
Details will be added to the Theme Camps page on an ongoing basis, based on the placement applications we receive, and on their willingness and availability to open their space for external workshops and performances. You are then welcome to get in touch with them directly to discuss the space they have. Or if you need a hand finding a space, drop a line to email@example.com
Separating the theme camps from the open art space, The Point (previously called Centre Camp) provides standing room for up to 50 people. It’s completely covered and dry, including protection from wind. The Point has access to power and lighting as well as a stage for performances. You’re invited to make this a welcoming space with activities and workshops, performances, and your own presence and creative flair. Use of the space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for availability.
What Where When Guide
Once you have confirmed your date, time and location you have the option of submitting these details to appear in the What Where When Guide by filling in this form.
The deadline for final submissions is Tuesday 23rd April 2019. Listing is not mandatory unless you have secured funding, in which case it is a requirement of the reimbursement process.
The Point (previously Centre Camp) will also have a board for you to write up anything you want to announce during the event – including planned and impromptu workshops and performances.
Review process and application can be found on the Art Grants page.
Everyone at Burning Nest brings something of themselves to The Glade, and everyone buys their own Membership. There are no artist passes, free tickets for DJs, or star trailers here!
